Get ready to mosh, Dallas. One of the country’s most intense music festivals will be taking over the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth for a single day this October, marking the Texas premiere of Sick New World.
First launched in Las Vegas around 2023, Sick New World is an alternative and metal music festival known for consistently booking a massive roster of heavy-hitting bands. This October’s Sick New World Texas represents the festival’s first true expansion beyond Nevada’s borders.

Sick New World is a one-day-only event happening at the Texas Motor Speedway—located roughly half an hour from the DFW airport—in Fort Worth on October 24, 2026.
Complimentary parking is offered at the venue. If you are taking an Uber or Lyft, the designated rideshare pick-up and drop-off zone is at 17343 Mark Martin Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76177.

The lineup of Sick New World Texas
Sick New World is bringing a giant roster of goth, nu-metal, hardcore, industrial, and punk artists to the speedway.
The Texas edition is headlined by System of a Down, Deftones, and Slayer, with Slayer slated to play their legendary Reign in Blood album in its entirety to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The fest squeezes dozens of groups onto multiple stages, highlighting heavyweights such as Marilyn Manson, The Prodigy, Evanescence, and Mastodon. Beyond the iconic genre veterans, this full day of mosh-pit energy will showcase hardcore favorites like Terror and Knocked Loose, alongside shoegaze-leaning bands like SUPERHEAVEN and Deafheaven. Sick New World ticketing information
Even though the festival initially sold GA, GA+, VIP, and Ultimate VIP passes, currently only General Admission tickets are left.
These general-admission passes are listed on the official festival site for $349. Keep in mind that availability and prices are subject to change, and additional shipping and tax fees may be applied at checkout. Your GA ticket grants you entry to the shows, merchandise booths, bars, food vendors, concessions, and complimentary water stations.
The event also offers hotel and ticket bundles beginning at $719, plus group GA packages that start at $1,300 for a bundle of four and $1,950 for a six-pack.
Once you leave, you cannot come back in; re-entry is strictly prohibited across all ticket tiers.
What you can and can’t bring to the festival
Please be aware that the festival enforces a stringent bag policy. Standard backpacks are banned, and the only permitted bags are the following:
- Small clutch bags and single-pocket fanny packs measuring 6″ x 9″ or less
- Other bags no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″
- Empty hydration packs containing two pockets or fewer
Additional prohibited items include lasers, umbrellas, selfie sticks, flags, coolers, chairs, blankets, masks, and pets (with the exception of official service animals).
You are allowed to bring in one water bottle (maximum 32 oz capacity), non-aerosol sunblock, and unopened lip balm, but prepare for an extensive security search at the entrance.
