Pick a side, or try both. Starting Friday, November 27, The Village Country Club at The Village Dallas turns into a holiday pop-up bar with two floors and two very different moods. It’s part of A Very Merry Village, the neighborhood’s season-long holiday celebration, and it’s open to the public, not just Village residents.
Two floors, two moods
Downstairs, the Naughty bar leans dark and dramatic: rich black cherry tones, plush velvet, brass accents and a coal-inspired sculpture. The programming is meant to be sultry but polished, a grown-up take on holiday mischief.
Upstairs, the Nice bar goes the other way. Expect an airy winter wonderland of frosted textures, soft accents and elegant decor, plus playful “good deed” moments meant to evoke the nostalgia of the season. Photos of this year’s pop-up aren’t available yet. The organizers’ reference image comes from last year’s holiday bar and only gives a general sense of the Nice bar’s look.
What’s on the menu
The seasonal cocktail list includes:
- Buttered Beer: vanilla vodka or spiced rum, butterscotch schnapps and syrup, cream soda, and salted butterscotch vanilla foam.
- Gingerbread Espresso Martini: vodka, Mr Black coffee liqueur, espresso and gingerbread syrup.
- Fireside Old Fashioned: bourbon, maple syrup, black walnut and orange bitters, applewood smoke and a rosemary garnish.
- Snow Globe Spritz: St-Germain, white cranberry juice, lemon and Prosecco, finished with frozen cranberries.
- Cotton-Headed Ninny Muggins: mandarin vodka, blood orange liqueur, white cranberry juice and lemon juice, topped with cotton candy.
On Tuesdays through Thursdays, there’s also a S’mores Hot Chocolate, made with bourbon or vanilla vodka, hot chocolate, torched marshmallow foam, graham cracker crumble and chocolate.

The List: Naughty & Nice is at 5670 Village Glen Drive, Dallas, TX 75206. Hours are:
- Tuesday to Thursday: 4 to 9 p.m.
- Friday: 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- Saturday: 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- Sunday: 3 to 9 p.m.
