Whisk yourself off to Wonderland this summer in Dallas. Apothecary avant-garde cocktail garden and speakeasy has unveiled their new summer-long Alice in Wonderland pop-up complete with themed eats and drinks, and fantastic decor.
Located behind an unmarked door beside Rye on Greenville Avenue, Apothecary is a moody, highly awarded Dallas speakeasy that specializes in enticingly innovative cocktails. From now until mid July, Apothecary will be hosting an Alice in Wonderland-themed pop-up.
The new Alice in Wonderland pop-up follows a re-imagining of the classic storybook as told and illustrated by Apothecary. Here, the adventures of Alice are weaved in to the bar’s menu of libations and eats.
Drink-wise, visitors can sip on a fantastic assortment of potions. Featured drinks include Drink Me, made with pineapple juice, cherry juice, vodka, pineapple amaro, and graham cracker tincture; Tea Party mixed with milk-washed gin, honey, lavender sage, honey, and earl grey tea; and We’re All Mad Here, a rum-based cocktail mixed with cinnamon, blackberry, and egg whites.
Apothecary will also feature an assortment of eats associated with the story. Options here include the Cheshire Stripes short rib, served with raviolo, roasted beets, and beef-lapsang consume.
Other featured dishes include the Rabbit Hole – rosemary onion doughnut hole with glaze, whipped rabbit mousse, carrot juice, and dill; Eat Me milk bread with pork belly, scallion, and ginger; and Cheddar Fitters served with piri piri dipping sauce.
Of course, the whimsical new pop-up also features a themed interior with suspended playing cards hanging from the ceiling, trippy flourishes, and dangling teacups.
The Alice in Wonderland pop-up is now open at Apothecary in Dallas. Reservations aren’t required but are encouraged. Apothecary is located at 1922 Greenville Ave. The venue is open from 5 pm to midnight Tuesday through Sunday.
