A sneak peak of the AT&T Plano headquarters is here. The company CEO, John Stankey, recently released the headquarters’ renderings on LinkedIn, revealing a first glimpse of the sprawling 2-million-square-foot campus.
Earlier this January, AT&T announced their groundbreaking decision to move their global headquarters from Dallas to Plano, Texas. Ahead of the company’s official relocation, which it plans by the second half of 2028, the company has released its Plano headquarters’ first renderings.
One of the key factors that went into the company’s decision to relocated was its desire for a horizontal campus. In an effort to consolidate its North Texas administrations, the company opted for a sprawling 54-acre campus rather than the more typical, skyscraper-like vertical design.

A key design element of the campus will be a blue AT&T-branded tower.
“One of the defining features will be an iconic tower, a foundational part of the campus, delivering world-class cell coverage to the campus and our new home neighborhood. Today, I’m sharing a first look at its proposed design,” said Stankey.
“With a globe at the top, it will stand out on the horizon, a symbol both of our headquarters and the advanced connectivity we provide across this country.”
Located at 5400 Legacy Drive, former headquarters of Electronic Data Systems (EDS), the company plans to offer an array of amenities in support of life-work integration. Other considerations factoring into the campus’s design, Stankey stated, include facilitating collaboration and execution, creating a space that attracts top talent, and fostering brand and purpose reinforcement.

AT&T aims to begin occupancy of its Plano headquarters as soon as the second half of 2028.
