In celebration of Greta Gerwig’s upcoming Barbie movie, Sorry Papi Tour – an American/Latina all-girl party – is taking a tour across Texas.
This Friday, the Sorry Papi Tour dubbed “the only all-girl reggaeton party in the country” is going off in Dallas with a Barbie-themed bash featuring an all-girl DJ lineup, Barbie-themed photo-ops, and more!
Created initially pre-pandemic by V5 Group –”the largest Latino event marketing company in the Chicagoland area” – the Sorry Papi Tour invites women across the country to come together in a safe space for an epic girl’s night.
Since its inception, the company has recorded over $2.5 million in ticket sales on top of $200k in merchandise according to Forbes. On social media, the Sorry Papi Tour has over 85k followers on Instagram and 65k followers on TikTok, where it has garnered over 2 million likes.
On July 7, the tour is taking off in Dallas at the House of Blues before it visits Austin, San Antonio, and Houston on other July dates.
Throughout the night, the entirely Latina-women lineup of DJs on the Sorry Papi Tour will provide an infectiously dancey – largely Reggaeton – soundtrack for good times. Furthermore, the party promises to feature over-the-top decor, Barbie-themed photo-ops, themed drinks, immersive art installations, giveaways, surprise performances, and more!
Previously, the tour has featured special performances from Jory Boy, Randy of Jowell and Randy, Pao Pao, and more.
The Sorry Papi Tour takes place on Friday, July 7 at 9 pm at the House of Blues. Tickets for the 18+ event are now on sale, starting at $20.
