Texans continue to help Texans. As the state continues to struggle through its massive power outages, water cuts, plumbing SNAFUs, and freezing temperatures, there is warmth in knowing that many are going out of their way to help those in need.
Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale immediately opened his stores as warming centers for all, Trae The Truth worked with local restaurants to feed those in need as well as plumbers to coordinate with those with urgent issues, non-Texan AOC, recently raised one million for relief efforts. These prominent figures, along with countless neighbor residents, went out of their way to help their neighbors get through this heinous storm. Now, Houston-local Beyoncé, is stepping up to offer $1,000 grants to those that need it.
“Beygood and Adidas are working with Bread of Life to bring urgent relief to those suffering as a result of the winter storms,” her website reads.
For whom it concerns, those can apply for a grant now by filling out an application here. As it states, the fund is not a loan that would require reimbursement, nor is it one to address ongoing financial problems, but rather a one-time financial assistance payment.
