Experience the most wonderful time of the year like never before here in Dallas!
What’s your favorite Christmas movie? Do you enjoy the quirky fun-lovingness of Will Farrell in Elf; perhaps you go full rabbit costume on nostalgia with A Christmas Story, or maybe you rep the Griswold’s Christmas Vacation. Wherever you stand, you can now fully immerse yourself in the Christmas festivities at the Gaylord Texas Resort & Convention Center!
It looks like Dallas is on the Nice List this year, because Santa is lugging the entire North Pole down to the Gaylord Texas Resort & Convention Center this holiday season. Gaylord Texan’s 17,000-sq. ft. pop-up is now open as a never-before-seen mult-sensory walk-thru exhibit.
“There’s nothing like Christmas in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and no destination celebrates the holidays like Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center,” the venue writes on its website. “As our hotel sparkles to life with Christmas cheer, take part in classic holiday family activities like photos with Santa, spectacular light displays like Merry & Lights and thrilling experiences like snow tubing and ice skating.”
You might not be able to dodge a series of boobytraps à la Home Alone, but you will be able to join Buddy The Elf on his voyage from the North Pole to New York City, meander the Candy Cane Forest, and engage in a full-on epic virtual snowball fight.
Ticket prices vary, but at the time of this article a cyber deal is in place in which prices range from $12 to $18.
