Listen up, nerds: The Dallas Fan Expo returns this June. The annual festival is a celebration of all things comics, sci-fi, anime, and horror and is the largest convention of its kind in Dallas.
This June the Dallas Fan Expo returns with three days of star-studded list of celebrity appearances, discussions, debates, gaming, 400,000-square-feet of shopping space, and more.
Who are the special guests attending the Dallas Fan Expo?
From A-list celebrities, cult heroes, anime voice-actors, professional gamers, and more: the guest appearances at the Dallas Fan Expo this June cannot be understated. Truly, the list is mind-boggling.
Appearances include: legendary composer, singer, and song-writer Danny Elfman, Doctor Who’s David Tennant, Jodie Whittaker, Catherine Tate, and Billie Piper; cult-film icon, Tim Curry; award-winning actors, Mads Mikkelsen and Marisa Tomei.

What activities does the Dallas Fan Expo put on?
In addition to the absolutely-stacked list of guest appearances, the Comic Con of Dallas is also renowned for the wide variety of events, attractions, and panels covering sci-fi, anime, comics, gaming, horror, and cosplay.
Main events at the Dallas Fan Expo include demos, workshops, debates, comic creators and Artist Alley, Twisted Toonz like movie script reading, and fan meetups.
Other featured events include the Japanese-inspired, Akihabara-style Maid Cafe, Drink ‘N Draw drawing challenge with Emmy Award-winning cartoonist, Joe Wos, a Seinfeld screening, Pikachu Day hunt, and the annual Super Pet Adoptions.

What shopping is available?
As mentioned, the expo features over 400,000-square-feet of shopping space. From which fans can cop anything from Funko Pops, swords, and action figures, to exclusive comic books, memorabilia, and merchandise.

How do I get tickets?
At the time of this article (before May 23, 2024) advanced ticket pricing is now on sale starting at only $30 for a single day pass. Three-day passes are also available at advanced pricing at $94. These passes include admission to the show floor, panel room and theater, as well as a Souvenir Badge.
Note: photo-ops and autographs are priced separately.
