Ready for another hot new restaurant opening, Dallas? Shortly after the opening of the four-story Hampton Social rooftop restaurant and bar, a new restaurant will offer Dallasites the chance to elevate their lifestyle. Opening this week, Evelyn, is a an Old Hollywood-inspired steakhouse and lounge, that’ll offer multiple distinct areas, Golden Age-inspired cocktails, and upscale steakhouse fare.
Opening in Dallas’ Design District on Wednesday, March 26, Evelyn is a glamorous new concept from Reach Hospitality. The hospitality group is known for a number of renowned concepts including The Mexican, Black Tap, and Pie Tap. With EVELYN, Reach aims to offer a glamorous and timeless dining and nightlife experience.
Evelyn will be housed in a 9,500-square-foot venue at 1201 Turtle Creek Blvd. Of the vibe, a spokesperson for the group has stated it to emit “confidence, sophistication, and a striking feminine energy”. The space features multiple distinct areas including The Piano Room, Ruby Room, and Room Seven.
The Piano Room, an intimate and sophisticated space adorned with a vintage chandelier, Old Hollywood photographs, and red-tufted banquettes, will provide the primary dining space for the venue.
Adjacent to The Piano Room is The Ruby Room, the restaurant’s main bar area. Here, patrons can enjoy classic, era-driven cocktails, including a diverse martini selection. While most martini options range in the $20 range, Evelyn’s The Price of Fame, a simple $150 cocktail mixed with dry vermouth, Notel’s Reserve Gin, caviar-stuffed olives, black truffle bitters.
Room Seven, the launching point for Evelyn, will provide a more nightlife experience. Offering a moody lounge atmosphere, Room Seven channels the electric vibes of ’70s and ’80s dance floors, complete with “a little bit disco, a little bit rock n’ roll” aesthetics.
As for its menu, Evelyn classic steakhouse offerings with innovative and refined dishes. The steak offerings are sourced from renowned ranches, including a 14-ounce Texas Wagyu Strip from Rosewood Ranch, a 22-ounce dry-aged Prime Ribeye from DemKota Ranch in South Dakota, and the Japanese Miyazaki A5 Wagyu. Other dishes include Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites, Jumbo Lump Gulf Crab & Avocado Stack as well as caviar service and seafood towers.
Evelyn will be open daily, except Mondays. Dining in The Piano Room is available from 4:30 pm – 10:00 pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and until midnight on Thursdays through Saturdays. The Ruby Room and Room Seven will be open from 4:30 pm – midnight on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and until 2:00 am on Thursdays through Saturdays.
