The ‘Ferrari Of Hot Pot Restaurants’ Has Finally Opened In Frisco

HaiDiLao, the wildly-acclaimed Chinese hot pot restaurant, has opened its long-awaited location in Frisco.

Hype for the world-renowned hot pot restaurant has been boiling at a high in Dallas. Back in February, HaiDiLao, which has over 600 locations around the world, announced its slated opening in the new Frisco Oasis Development. This past weekend, the restaurant opened to crowds of eager eaters. [Featured image: @haidilaous]

For the uninitiated, hot pot is a communal dining experience that involves a large bowl typically divided into mild and spicy broth. The bowl is placed in the center of the table and heated by flame or induction. The diners are given an assortment of meats and vegetables as well as smaller bowls of sauce. Once the broth is boiling, diners cook their chosen ingredients in the broth themselves.

While Dallas has its fair share of hot pot restaurants, HaiDiLao brings the experience to a whole noo-dle level. With lavish amenities, a custom ventilation system made to clear hot pot smells from the restaurant and protect customers’ clothing from catching lingering scents, as well as an extensive menu offers a wide variety of seafood, vegetables, and meat, including wagyu beef – the restaurant prides itself on its luxurious features.

Perhaps overshadowing their exquisite cuisine is their unparalleled service. Hai Di Lao gives diners a show of tableside noodle-makers, known as “noodle dancers”, while offering MANICURES and HAND MASSAGES to those waiting for their broth to cook.

HaiDiLao is now open at 9244 Prestmont Place at the Frisco Oasis development.
