It’s not even spring, but we already know that the coming summer is going to be a scorcher. While there are plenty of bars, bistros, and pleasantly air-conditioned spaces in Dallas to keep you cool, the coming Fireside Surf wavepool restaurant in the Dallas area will be an all-in-one.
Now open, Fireside Surf is a restaurant, bar, and wavepool where visitors can drink, dine, and shred the gnar.
How’s the surf?
Fireside Surf’s wavepool provides endless 6-foot waves without the otherwise hassle-some issues of delayed sets, rocks, and those pesky sharks.
Surfers are able to customize their waves based on skill set, selecting from either knee-high to head-high breaks. Also, if you’re no Kelly Slater, you can opt to boogie and/or bodyboard.
Once open, Fireside Surf offers surfing lessons. Potential shredders can select from beginner, learn-to-surf lessons from hands-on instructors complete with provided boards and integrated rails if necessary.

More learned surfers can take intermediate lessons, where patrons can practice frontside and backside turns as well as rail-to-rail surfing.
Lastly, Keanu Reeves a la Point Break types can take expert and pro #FullSend lessons from Fireside’s team of coaches for elite-level training sessions.
What to eat and drink?
The Splash Lounge at Fireside Surf is a full bar and restaurant that features curated fusion bites from ingredients pooled from the world’s best surf spots.
Its menu is divided in shareables, handhelds, desserts, and kid’s options. Featured dishes include Crispy Coconut Shrimp, Maui Wowie Chicken, and the Vegan Buddha Bowl. Fireside Surf will also offer all-day/everyday brunch!
Of course, no surf shack would be worth its waves without sweet, vibrant cocktails. Specialty drinks here include the Watermelon Crush, Banana Hammock, Surf Colada, and Frozen Dreamsicle.
