It looks like Dallas is on the Nice List this year because Santa has lugged the entire North Pole down to the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center this holiday season once again for an enormous winter wonderland featuring over 2 million sparkling lights, more than 15,000 ornaments, hundreds of Christmas trees, awe-inspiring work of artisan ice sculptors, endless activities and so much more!
Every night through January the center’s remarkable atrium will come to life and dazzle with thousands of dancing lights synchronized to a high-energy, seasonal soundtrack while animated light curtains will glow with Christmas imagery around a 52-foot centerpiece tree.
Guests can grab a bucket of real snowballs and take aim at interactive targets created by Santa’s Elves at Santa’s Snow Throw experience, adorn a gingerbread house with cookies and sweet treats at a Gingerbread Decorating Corner, meet and greet Santa himself or enjoy the array of escape rooms, pop-up bars, and Christmas rides.
“Discover So. Much. Christmas. at Gaylord Texan Resort during our annual Christmas extravaganza. With hours of exciting events and activities like snow tubing and ice skating, holiday dining, live entertainment, and more, it’s easy to see why Christmas at Gaylord Texan is a beloved family tradition” the venue writes on its website.
In addition to the array of exciting activities and festive photo ops at every turn, this year will see the triumphant return of ICE! which will see scenes from the beloved movie The Polar Express™ brought to life in magnificent sculptures hand-carved from more than two million pounds of ice.
The Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center will be decked out for the holidays offering a range of activities for all ages through January 1, 2023.
