Known as the Christmas Capital of Texas for years, Grapevine’s holiday calendar is stacked with more than 1,400 events.
Throughout the season, the city dazzles with millions of sparkling lights and over innumerable holiday festivities—whether taking in the Christmas Parade of Lights, exploring the Christmas Village and Market, gliding across the Peace Plaza Ice Rink, or riding the historic Grapevine Vintage Railroad.

Winter Wonderland Bubbles
Among the winter festivities is the return of the Winter Wonderland Bubbles, private chalet-style domes set up at WineYard Grille + Bar at Hotel Vin Grapevine, about a half-hour outside Dallas. They run November 13, 2026 through February 14, 2027.
The bubbles sit alongside the historic Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Inside, you’ll find fireside seating, chalet-style interiors and Pendleton blankets and décor, plus an in-bubble shopping experience for browsing holiday gifts. The menu leans Swiss Alps, with fondue as the centerpiece.
Reservations are priced $260 and covers up to eight adults for 90 minutes. Slots are available Wednesday through Sunday, 4 to 11 p.m. Booking is available through OpenTable.
For a quieter option, visit Fireside at WineYard. Located under the twinkling lights of WineYard Grille + Bar, reservations here are priced at $120 for up to four guests for 90 minutes and includes a bottle of Mumm Napa Prestige Cuvée. Seasonal bites and caviar service cost extra. Reserve on OpenTable, with the same dates as the bubbles.

Holly Jolly Bar takes over Harvest Hall
Next door at Harvest Hall, the Third Rail venue turns into the Holly Jolly Bar for the season. Expect oversized ornaments, string lights, themed cocktails and live entertainment. You can stop in after your bubble reservation or make it the whole night.
