Saddle your broomstick and take a flight out to the cross streets of Slaughter Lane and Bungalow in Austin, Texas, where Texas couple, Joel and Amanda Pace, have transformed their lawn into the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter once again.
While the Paces will not be hosting the immersive, walk-through Diagon Alley ATX display this year, visitors can drive-by or set their eyes, street-side, on floating pumpkins as well as enchanting recreations of The Great Hall, The Astronomy Tower, The Marble Staircase, and the newly added Bell Tower. Additionally, visitors can also witness scenes coming alive in their other new addition, the Hogwarts Castle Window.
Keep in mind that this is not a business but rather a family, that said, while the couple gladly invites people to see the display, they ask that visitors not come on to the front yard for a closer look as it were.
On weekdays, visitors can see castle light shows up until 8:30 pm; 9:30 pm on weekends. For those that do get out of their vehicles to see the homemade exhibit from the street, the couple encourages to wear masks and practice social distancing.
As written on its Facebook page, Diagon Alley Austin Halloween House will be on display through mid November. After which, the decor will take on a festive cheer as a part of their Holiday Yule Ball theme.
The Diagon Alley Austin Halloween House accepts donations by which they use to support local Austin charities that include Foster Angles of Central Texas, Variety Texas, and ZACH Theatre. You can presently donate to them through Venmo: @DiagonAlleyAtx.
The exact address is not shared online, but visitors can find the house off the cross streets of Bungalow and Slaughter Lane in Circle C’s Vintage Place.
