The holiday season has just passed us by and there’s no doubt more than a few of you watched one of the all-time greatest Christmas flicks in Home Alone.
When it comes to holiday movies, there are three types of viewers: those who opt to watch old home recordings of holidays passed; those who never veer from the Hallmark channel during the build-up to Christmas Day, and the people who rewatch those treasured classics like A Christmas Story, Elf, and Home Alone.
If your family is composed of all three types and you’re already missing the festive period or want to plan ahead for next year, bring it all together in a complete package at The Kevin, where you can step into the contents of one of the best Christmas movies ever at this Home Alone-inspired Airbnb in Dallas.
“A tribute to our favorite Christmas movie!” The Kevin owners Jeremy and Kelsey write on the Air BnB page. “Celebrate the holidays with your nearest and dearest in a house that feels like 1990. Did we mention FREE Cheese Pizza delivered?”
“You and your family or friends can watch your favorite Holiday movies on VHS, drink milk out of fancy glasses, play ping pong and enjoy tons of photo ops!”
Two rooms are available at The Kevin, which is located in the lower unit of a private duplex. Prices start at $173 a night, amenities include wifi, kitchen, dryer, washer, TV, heating, A/C, and booby traps.
No pets, smoking, nor parties are allowed – unless it’s with the resident mannequins and a Michael Jordan to Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.
Speaking of mannequins, The Kevin features decor, props, and scenery that is straight out of the movie, not excluding an uncanny dining area, a bronze doorstep statue, and a kids’ room complete with figurines, posters, and a terrarium for Buzz’s tarantula of course.
Oh and there’s even a ping-pong table in case anybody is interested in unleashing their competitive side!
