Are ya ready, kids? Anyone who’s ever watched an episode of Spongebob Squarepants has had an overwhelming urge to try a Krabby Patty. This season, the iconic Bikini Bottom burger is coming to life in Dallas for a limited time.
It’s not nautical non-sense to say a Krabby Patty is something you wish. This October, the iconic animated franchise of Spongebob Squarepants is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
In honor of 25 years in a pineapple under the sea, the beloved series has launched a promotion in collaboration with Paramount and Wendy’s to Spongebob Squarepants-inspired dishes to life.
The exciting new collaboration includes two themed dishes:
- Krabby Patty Kollab Burger made with a quarter pound of beef, two slices of American cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickle, onion, and “top secret” Krabby Kollab sauce served on a toasted bun
- Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty a vanilla-based Frosty mixed with a Pineapple Mango-flavored puree swirl
“It makes sense that two of the most iconic squares in pop culture are teaming up to bring a taste of this unique, limited-time experience to life for fans of all ages,” said U.S Chief Marketing Officer for Wendy’s, Lindsay Radkoski in a press release.
“Wendy’s pulse on pop culture and connection to fans makes this collaboration a perfect match for Paramount, and we’re looking forward to delivering memorable and immersive experiences through custom creative, engaging social content and recognizable influence,” said CMO of Paramount Brand Studio, Dario Spina, in a press release.
The promotion will be available beginning on October 8 at Wendy’s locations throughout Canada, Guam, and the United States – Dallas included. Among other means, you can find the nearest Wendy’s to you via the Wendy’s mobile app.
This isn’t Spongebob Squarepants first foray into Texas. As you know, the recent Netflix movie features Spongebob Squarepants and Sandy Cheeks making a road trip to Galveston, Texas.
