Make dinner an event this season in Dallas at Magic Time Machine. Through themed booths, ranging from an astronaut’s space module to a sweetheart’s table, costumed servers, and an aquarium, and more: the whimsical restaurant offers a spectacular dining experience in Dallas for the whole family to enjoy.
Originally founded in San Antonio in 1973, Magic Time Machine opened up an outpost in Dallas, TX in 1979. Located at 5003 Belt Line Rd, the venue offers a festive atmosphere for kids and adults alike.
Here, each booth is themed differently – including a horse-populated carousel, giant pumpkin, astronaut space module, thatched hut, lunchbox, and school bus.
Debatably its main attraction is its animated staff – who, if you ask us, are a real cast of characters. They’re dressed as pop culture icons – everything from Disney princesses and superheroes to Jack Sparrow or the Mad Hatter – and they stay in full character the entire time. Don’t be surprised if Deadpool drops off your drinks or Batman cracks a joke at your table.
The menu features classic American fare including steaks, seafood, burgers, and pastas. Another unique touch at Magic Time Machine, is the salad bar served atop a red 1952 MG-TD Roadster. For the full experience, Magic Time Machine offers the “Roman Orgy”. Priced at $19.99 per person, the feast for four people or more features a roast of tender brisket, herb-smoked chicken, fruit, and other fare.
The venue also features a wide selection of options for kids.
Magic Time Machine is located at 5003 Beltline Road in Dallas and is open from 5 pm to 10 pm from Monday to Thursday; 4 pm to 10:30 pm Friday and Saturday; and from 4 pm to 9 pm on Sunday.
