In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Texas restaurant, Mexican Sugar, is hosting a series of bustling Mexican street markets over the course of the next month with Mexican street food, local artisans, handcrafted margaritas, and more!
Kicking off this Saturday, September 21, Mexican Sugar is taking over the McKinney and Olive courtyard in Uptown, Dallas with a colorful series of Mexican street markets in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Taking place every Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm from September 21 to October 12, the Mercado Mexicano will feature a dazzling array of Mexican street food vendors and local artisans offering handcrafted wares in an immersive, culturally-rich environment.

- ¡Ooh Lola! Artesanias Colores De Mexico

- Golden Colibri
- Resol Floral & Events

The Mexican street market in Dallas will also feature a number of pop-up bars serving craft cocktails and over beverages including thirst-quenching aqua frescas, horchatas, limonadas, and tasty margaritas.
Food and beverage vendors include:

- Dee J’s BakeHouse
- Mi Corazón Panadería
Here visitors can enjoy from a selection authentic street tacos with carne asada, carnitas, chicken, and breakfast tacos available for purchase – along with a variety of toppings and sauces.
“This event offers a fun opportunity to embrace National Hispanic Heritage Month while supporting local vendors,” Mexican Sugar stated in a press release. “Mexican Sugar is committed to fostering community connections by celebrating cultural traditions and sharing the beauty of Mexico’s rich heritage.”
Mercado Mexicano takes place at the Green Space at Mexican Sugar Uptown at 2355 Olive Street in Dallas each Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm from September 21 to October 12. The event is free to attend.
