Get your peanuts, Cracker Jacks, and Boomsticks, Dallas, because the 2024 MLB All-Star Game is swinging for the fences this Tuesday at Globe Life Field.
With the festivities already well underway, this week’s events leading up to the 94th All-Star Game on Tuesday include the T-Mobile Home Run Derby this Monday at 7 pm. Here, you can watch baseball’s baddest sluggers take a crack at double-digit homers.
Key hitters to keep an eye out for this year include hometown hero, Adolis Garcia, José Ramírez, and Pete Alonso, who is eyeing his third Home Run Derby title to tie Ken Griffey Jr.’s record.
The main event, of course, is the Midsummer Classic on Tuesday night. For the first time since 1939, and third time in history, the All-Star Game will be hosted at the home of the reigning World Series champions.
Texas Rangers players set to take the field this All-Star Game in Dallas include Corey Seager, Marcus Semien, and relief pitcher, Kirby Yates.
For a little action ahead of the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game, fans can revel in the ballpark-adjacent festivities at the Capital One All-Star Village.
Hosted at the Choctaw Stadium, the All-Star Village features entertainment for the whole family. Open from 10 am to 6 pm, the venue is hosting Play Ball Diamond Free Play as well as scheduled appearances from baseball greats such as Vladimir Guerrero Sr., Kevin Mench, and Ivan Rodriguez on Monday.
On Tuesday, the venue will host further player appearances and free play, as well as panels, live music performances, DJs, food trucks, vendors, and more! Access to the Capitol One All-Star Village starts at $35 for adults, $30 for children. Military, college, and senior discounts are available.
