Summer has arrived in Texas and it is relentless. While there are places around town for Dallasites to stay hydrated, this kind of heat calls for a little something extra. For the season, Toller Bar in Uptown has opened up a swimming pool for patrons to escape the blistering heat!
Who doesn’t like a cocktail in a flamingo-shaped cup? Located on the east side of Uptown, north of Bryan place is the vibrant, sprawling Toller Patio bar and kitchen. Comprising of over 12,000 square feet of palm trees, multicolored community picnic tables, and twinkling lights, the dog-friendly patio offers a vibrant ambiance to enjoy days, evenings, and nights of any season.
As a little something special, the patio has opened an above-ground pool for patrons to sip and swim.
“We’re bringing paradise to the patio! Cool down with us poolside every day on our patio, plus,” the bar wrote in an Instagram post. “Enjoy drinks specials and water balloon fights every SUNDAY.”
For food options, the patio offers everything from snacks to entrees. Regarding the former, visitors can find elote, nachos, chili dip, and popcorn shrimp. Entree wise, options range from wings, to sandwiches, salads, and tacos.
From 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday, Toller Patio serves brunch with options that include breakfast tacos, a brunch bowl with scrambled eggs, sweet potato hash, jalapenos, hollandaise and the choice of bacon, chorizo, or veggie, or a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, sweet potato hash, toast, and jam.
Toller Patio Bar is open every day of the week at 3675 Ross Avenue.
