See Van Gogh’s masterworks come to life this summer at the iconic Globe Life Park with Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience!
You’ve never experienced Van Gogh like this before. Instead of standing and staring at one of the iconic artist’s beautiful framed paintings from afar, imagine being able to walk inside one — the vibrant colors swirling around you while you take in the stunning, post-impressionist works in an otherworldly way.
Well, that’s exactly what you’ll be able to do at the brand new Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience coming to Arlington this August!
The exhibit is coming to new magnitudes at Globe Life Park. The ballpark opened in 2020 as the new and improved home of the Texas Rangers. This baseball field can house 40,300 fans and is 270 acres big!
Globe Life Park was the home of the Texas Rangers baseball team from 1994-2019, before they made the move to their new home Globe Life Park. Reconfigured at the conclusion of the 2019 season, Globe Life Park is now a popular multipurpose sports & entertainment facility that is sure to impress guests with its updated amenities and fully-customizable event spaces.
Located 15 mins away from the center of Dallas, and from Aug 19th onwards, it will also host the Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience in one of its largest event spaces!
Artwork from the iconic post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh will come to life in a 360-degree digital spectacle that’ll illuminate and transform the physical space into a fully immersive exhibit. You’ll see Van Gogh’s work take over the walls and encompass your surroundings through the lenses of several dozen projectors, hyper-realistic VR headsets, or a mix of both.
Using technology to recreate animated displays of these masterpieces you’ll be immersed directly into the paintings themselves, looking up at a Starry Night and watching the stars dance around the room in Van Gogh’s iconic style.
