Start your engines, Dallas. While driving through Dallas isn’t what we’d necessarily call a “good time”, a new simulation racing facility is set to change that. Velocity is a world-class racing simulation facility geared to open a 10,000-square-foot facility in Dallas this summer complete with a bar, kitchen, and more.
This past year, Velocity Sim Lounge made its debut in Houston. Following its continued success, Velocity is changing course as it prepares to go even bigger in Dallas: opening a 10,000-square-foot facility nearly double the size of its previous flagship location in Houston.
“Motorsports and racing has been a huge part of my life and Velocity is about sharing that passion with the community,” said founder Viet Tran in a statement.

“After creating a true motorsport and car enthusiast destination in Houston, we knew Dallas was the natural next step. We’re excited to bring the largest simulation racing center in Texas to the DFW region and can’t wait for everyone to experience Velocity.”
Opening at The Hill shopping center, the Dallas Velocity Sim Lounge will feature its staple cutting-edge race simulators. Equipped with 180-degree panoramic displays and full motion systems, the 34 simulators will provide a hyper-realistic and immersive racing experience.
Its Dallas location will also see the debut of “the world’s first kid-friendly motion simulator” Race Simulator.
Furthermore, the machines allows players to drive their dream cars from the world’s most respective sports cars brands on some of the world’s most iconic tracks – ranging from Laguna Seca to Silverstone Circuit, Circuit of the Americas, and more.

Additionally, Velocity is working on creating a Dallas-specific track where players can actually enjoy driving through the city.
In addition to the simulation racing rigs, the motorsports-inspired facility will also feature an expansive central bar as well as a full kitchen. Menu-wise, Velocity plans to offer food and drinks inspired by the most renowned global motorsports cultures including America, Asia, and Europe.
Once up and running, the venue plans to host a wide variety of events – be birthday parties, corporate events, and tournaments.
Velocity Sim Lounge plans to open at The Hill shopping center at 9830 N. Central Expressway this summer.
