Whatawings? That’s what’s happening at the southern favorite burger franchise this January with the introduction of boneless wings to its menu now available at local outlets.
Now available, Whataburger patrons can add boneless wings to their late night (or anytime) orders. “Whatawings” are available in four flavors: honey barbecue, buffalo, sweet-and-spicy, and honey butter.
Reports indicate that the wings will be a seasonal item, much like the franchise’s Whatacatch fish sandwich and Chili Cheese Burger. As of yet, Whataburger hasn’t confirmed how long the wings will be on the menu or the going price.

Whataburger has also reprised the fan-favorite Dr. Pepper shake: “Our Dr Pepper Shake is as unique as Dr Pepper itself,” said Whataburger Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Rich Scheffler.
“This shake lets customers experience their favorite soft drink in a new way.”
Whatawings and Dr. Pepper Shake are now available at Whataburger restaurants.
The burger franchise was created in Corpus Christi, Texas but is now based in San Antonio. There are approximately 930 Whataburger restaurants across 14 states with over 50,000 employees.
