You can’t accuse Dallas of being all sizzle and no steak as two Dallas steakhouses have been featured on the 2025 list of the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants: Knife and Nuri.
Coming in at No. 47 on the list is Knife. Located at The Highland Dallas Hotel at 5300 E Mockingbird Ln, Knife is a restaurant by Chef John Tesar. Tesar is a nationally acclaimed, Michelin-awarded chef, who’s been nominated twice for a James Beard Award and twice appeared on Top Chef.
Boasting the highest quality ingredients, Knife sources local including meats from 44 Farms and Heartbrand Beef; everything is farm-to-table and/or made in house.
A core of Knife’s allure is Tesar’s dry-aging program, in which the restaurant ages steaks up to 240 days.
“The 45-day dry-aged 44 Farms sirloin remains a house favorite, while rarities such as 240-day bone-in ribeyes and Outpost 76 beef speak to the restaurant’s position at the cutting edge of American beef culture”.
Coming in at No. 84 on the list of the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants is Nuri Steakhouse in Dallas. Opened just 8 months ago in Uptown, Dallas, Nuri Steakhouse is helmed by the Michelin-recognized Culinary Director, Minji Kim and Executive Chef Mario Hernandez.
Among its top-tier meats, Nuri Tasting Board, and other highlights, one of the most prized features at the steakhouse is the Akaushi beef, a rare Japanese Wagyu. Nuri Steakhouse is located at 2401 Cedar Spring Road, Suite 120.
