Dogs deserve the best – and Dallas knows it. Reportedly, D-town was named the most “dog-obsessed” city in America. This February, the city will be able to live up to its name with the opening of Yardstick, a premium boutique dog hotel.
Yardstick is a premium boutique dog hospitality concept founded in Nashville that plans to opens its first Texas location in the Dallas Design District this February. Yardstick offers an elevated environment for dogs, focusing on delivering a stress-free, peaceful, and comfortable experience for the animals.
Specific features at Yardstick include spacious, custom-built suites with particular focus on sound reduction, a sofa lounge, padded playroom floors, turfed play yards, and premium air quality controls. Additionally, Yardstick offers a curated room service menu with favorites like puppuccino and other treats.

Yardstick offers multiple services include Nighttime or boarding services in which the venue supervises animals round-the-clock; Daytime or daycare, in which Yardstick Hosts group the dogs by sizes and organize intimate playgroups. Animals are also allowed access to playrooms and outdoor yards.
Yardstick also offers grooming services or Bathtime services, which is available for either Daytime or Nightime guests, and include bath, brush, dental chews, ear cleanings, and nail trims.
The boutique dog hotel opens at 2222 Irving Boulevard in Dallas Design District on February 3. Tours and boarding are available through its website.
