Wine and dine inside Yellow Rosa.
Escape to Deep Ellum’s tantalizing new hideaway at the boho tulum-inspired cocktail lounge, Yellow Rosa.
Those with an affinity for interior design – and thirst for tequila – will elate at Deep Ellum’s newest coctelería, Yellow Rosa. A step inside the hideaway transports one to a rustic cantina in an old Mexican pueblo. The cocktail lounge takes its inspiration from “the beaches of Tulum and the cantinas of San Miguel de Allende.”
From its sand-based brick walls, Spanish courtyard, wooden fixtures, woven textures, and clay jugs (los cantarintos) lining the bar, you can see that Yellow Rosa wears its Latin influence on its sleeve.
An interplay of moody fixtures are incorporated to deepen the atmosphere: vines weave up its darkly hued walls in which suspended dripping candelabras hover over a set antique chairs. A vintage gilded mirror hangs upon the wall opposite. The dining room sits beneath a skylit roof, filling the space with natural light.
It’s working menu will feature an assortment of agave-based cocktails as well as small plates that will include Ribeye Tostada and Surf & Turf Aguachile.
The opening of the coctelería coincides with their basic cousin, Basic Taco, which is now selling tacos, quesadillas, burritos, margaritas, and breakfast.
