Fantastically Festive Yuletide Pop-Ups Opening In Dallas This Weekend For The Holiday Season

Festive harborers of all things cheerful, Miracle and Sippin’ Santa pop-ups, are coming back to Dallas to usher in the most wonderful time of the year.

We know, we know. It’s barely November, how could we possibly dare speak about yuletide festivities? To that we say keep your turkey carving knives at bay; the lights are still in the attic, the ugly sweaters in the closet, and the tree still on the lot. But with December around the corner, we can’t help but to eek out our bubbling excitement for all things festive. Here to keep tradition alive, festive holiday pop-ups Miracle and Sippin’ Santa will return to two different Dallas bars this year to celebrate the season. [Featured image: @hidebar]

Miracle at Royal 38

For the uninitiated, Miracle is an over-the-top Christmas takeover of neighborhood bars during the yuletide season. Lit with enough lights to be seen from space, cozy hot and cold seasonal libations, and an unparalleled holiday decor enough to make the Grinch’s heart grow three times over, Miracle is a must for all with an affinity for elf culture. This year, you can experience the Miracle of the holidays at Royal 38.

What’s on the menu

Miracle is geared to reprise revamped version of fan favorite holiday cocktails as well as introduce a stocking’s worth of new libations.

Familiar favorites include their Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r!, Christmas Carol Barrel, Jolly Koala, On Dasher, Snowball Old-Fashioned, Christmapolitan, and Jingle Balls Nog. For a short burst of the holiday spirit, patrons can also enjoy the Nice and Naughty Shots.

New items include a White Russian Christmas, Yule Log Grog, Elfing Around, Azul Navidad, Mistletoe-to-Toe, and the Regifter.

How to get on the nice list

Once all official announcements are made by the participating venues, each will have their own links and whatnot to make reservations beforehand if necessary. Rest apprised that we’ll update this page as more details come available!

Counting down the days until Christmas

Miracle comes to Royal 38 on November 12 and Run, Run, Rudolphs until December 31 with more details on their way!

Sippin’ Santa at Ropo and Logan

Sippin’ Santa is Miracle’s Mele Kalikimaka island cousin. Think palm trees instead of pine, surfboards instead of sleighs, and rum instead of eggnog. This year, the tiki tinseltown will take place at Ropo and Logan at 2816 Elm Street.

What’s on the menu

Each year, Sippin’ Santa workshops a variety of colorful holiday cocktails with an island twist. Featured cocktails include the eponymous Sippin’ Santa, made with aged Demerara rum, nutmeg syrup, lemon juice, amaro, cinnamon syrup, and orange juice; the Kaloka Colada, with dark Jamaican and Gold Puerto Rican rums, pumpkin spiced coconut cream, lime juice, orange juice, and orange Curaçao; and the hotly served Brah Humbug, made with scotch, mulled wine syrup, and Drambuie.

Shots such as their Rum Rum Rudolph (pineapple, coffee liqueur, and overproof rums), as well as the shared Blitzen Bowl mixed with a sack-full of tropical liqueurs will also be available.

How to get on the nice list

Sippin’ Santa at Ropo and Logan will take place on the same dates as Miracle, from November 12 – 31. Be sure to stay tuned to our pages for further details!
