Irving-based 7-Eleven has unveiled its latest Evolution store in the DFW: a mega convenience store with a covered outdoor patio, frozen margaritas, customizable coffee machine, and more!
The company opened its first Evolution store back in 2019 as a concept that would allow it to test out new convenience and culinary concepts. This store also included an in-house Laredo Taco, the company’s first store to do so after acquiring the restaurant chain a year prior.
Now, the convenience store franchise is kicking things up a notch with its latest storefront. Located at the corner of Alpha Road at 13635 Preston Rd., the company’s fifth Evolution Store in DFW features the concept’s first covered patio area.
Additionally, the store features a wine cellar, organic smoothie machine, as well as customizable espresso machine with built-in flavors ranging from Caramel Macchiato, White Mocha, Dirty Chai, Horchata Latte, and Cold Foam.
“The customer is getting the convenience they expect from 7-Eleven – coupled with a delicious restaurant-quality dining option and unique and innovative beverages,” 7-Eleven Vice President of Store Evolution and Design, Molly Long told Dallas Culture Map. “These lab stores give us an opportunity to test, learn, and scale successes into our new store standards which ultimately allows us to continuously improve the experience for all our customers.”
The location also features a premium cigar humidor, beer cave, sparkling water, frozen margaritas, an in-house Laredo Taco, and other digital innovations. Of course, customers can also pump gas, grab a Big Bite hot dog, and snag their favorite Slurpee or Big Gulp concoction.
