Go on a journey through the prehistoric era this April at Sandbox VR. The venue, known for its cutting-edge immersive experience, is set to unleash its latest in Dallas.
“Age of Dinosaurs”, created in conjunction with the Natural History Museum in London as well as paleontologist Dr. Darren Naish, features one of the most realistic experiences of its kind with “every scale, tooth, muscle, and movement of this family-friendly experience grounded in science”.
Coming to Sandbox VR in Dallas on April 3, Age of Dinosaurs allows players to come face-to-face with dinosaurs of the prehistoric world. As a part of the experience, explorers can walk among Stegosauruses, save T-Rex babies from an erupting volcano, and look up to the sky-high brontosaurus.

“With Sandbox VR’s full-body tracking and haptic vests, guests will really feel the tremors of a Brachiosaurus’ footsteps and the rush of wind from pterosaurs, an experience beyond what traditional media or at-home VR can deliver,” the company said in a statement.
Sandbox VR is a next-level VR experience tucked away in Dallas’s Mockingbird Station. It’s the go-to spot for socially immersive gaming, blending top-tier haptics with full-body motion, creating a hyper-realistic experience.
“With Age of Dinosaurs, we are pushing the boundaries of what location-based VR can achieve by blending cinematic spectacle with scientific discovery,” said Steve Zhao, Founder and CEO of Sandbox VR.

“Collaborating with the Natural History Museum, London allowed us to create something truly special: an experience where guests don’t just watch history but step directly inside it. With our network growing faster than ever, we’re excited to bring this level of scientific realism to more cities across the world.”
