Get ready to step up to the plate in 2025. Batbox is a baseball-themed entertainment venue that’s calling its shot in Dallas. The venue and sports bar is slated to bring a grand-slam worth of fun to Addison in 2025 with baseball simulators, ballpark eats, pitching challenges, and more.
Much like that of the forthcoming TOCA Social, Batbox is an ‘eatertainment’ venue emulating a stadium experience that marries active sports-themed activities in a social, sports bar atmosphere.
The company presently has four locations across Mexico. Batbox moved its headquarters to Addison in 2022, where it plans to open its first US-based location in 2025. Its inaugural location in Addison will be the first of over two dozen more to come by 2030.
Batbox will be housed in a 13,000-square-foot space at Village on the Parkway in Addison a beat away from Puttshack. The 300 person-capacity venue will be equipped with multiple batting simulators with Strikezon technology using balls slightly softer than your average baseball.
The pitching velocity is adjustable in the bays available for rent between $10 – $25 an hour per person depending on group size. Batting bays are available for groups up to 18.
The simulators come with a range of games for patrons to play. Players can choose to swing for the fences in home run derby, or play up to nine innings of baseball. Once the venue is up and running, it plans to offer leagues where in players can contend with those around the world.
As for the cuisine, Batbox offers elevated ballpark eats inspired by baseball stadiums around the globe. Additionally, Batbox also features a curated beverage menu including ingredient-forward mixed drinks along with local craft beer, wine, and other staples.
Batbox aims to open ahead of Opening Day for the MLB in March 2025. The venue plans to begin construction this fall.
