May the course be with you.
You don’t have to like golf to love Puttshack’s high-energy, action-packed mini-golf bars. Something about the laidback hangout booth, flashing lights, and constant influx of margaritas really make for one hole of a good time whichever way your opinion swings. If that’s the vibe you’re going for, but could use a bit of work on your short game, then you’ll want to tap into Puttshack.
Housed in a 28,000 square-feet two-story space at Addison’s award-winning Village on the Parkway, Puttshack Dallas will offer “four custom-made, tech-driven, highly competitive mini golf courses, powered by the brand’s leading patented TrackaballTM technology that keeps score for you as you play.”
The tee-riffic upscale mini golf experience offers a whimsical mix of neon-lit courses wherein each hole offers its own unique, interactive game: “That means you can be working on your Beer Pong skills at one hole and then testing out your pop culture knowledge at a True or False hole,” the company writes on its website.
Want to play a round of putt-putt but are self-aware enough of your Happy Gilmore-esque tendencies? Perhaps Puttshack is the place for you. The retro, arcade-style miniature golf experience goes ixnay on scorecards and promotes a fun-and-games-type atmosphere instead with bizarre yet brilliant obstacles and features like a digital prize wheel offering the chance to win free drinks, games, pizzas, and more with every game.
Though of course, if you really have something to prove, or have money riding on the game, the course does have its patented Trackball technology and Interactive Digital Leaderboard which makes it easy to keep track of scores and puts a stop to any ifs or putts.
Because putt putt – and golf by extension – can really work up a sweat, Puttshack Dallas offers a globally inspired full cocktail bar and dining menu including edible options “from vegans to omnivores and cocktail connoisseurs.”
The world-class hospitality and high-energy, upscale nightclub vibe extends across two floors with multiple private event spaces on offer for exclusive parties, including a unique mezzanine area.
It joins a growing list of destinations in the United States after the UK-based company expanded to Atlanta, Chicago, Boston and Miami within the last year and has plans for several further locations in various United States cities.
“We are excited to welcome Puttshack and bring a novel mini golf experience as the first of several exciting changes coming to Village at the Parkway” said Jason Jones, Manager of VOP Partners, LLC, the owners of the center. “Puttshack will be an ideal complement to our growing roster of premium retailers and deliver a one-of-a-kind entertainment and dining option to the Addison community and greater Dallas metropolitan area.”
The exciting new bar which claims to be “the world’s first and only upscale, tech-infused mini golf experience” has been well received in other cities bringing an innovative new approach to the popular game.
