Set your eyes and tastebuds aglow this holiday season at Campo Verde at 2918 W Pioneer Pkwy. Every year, the Mexican-American restaurant takes the holidays into overdrive between October and March. During the extended festive season, the restaurant turns into a proverbial Christmas vortex, inundated with thousands of glittering Christmas lights, 30 trees, sparkling sequin and tinsel, glittering garlands and ornaments, punctuated by one holiday train,
Is it a bit over the top? Yes. Do we love it? Absolutely.
The restaurant at this holiday haven serves a variety of Americanized Mexican food. Tex-Mex staples such as enchiladas, fajitas, and nachos feature on its menu, as well as tacos, chalupas, flautas, tamales, and more for the average going price of similar eateries.
During this time, the restaurant is not taking restaurants. As this is their busiest time of the year, patrons might want to camp out the bar some time before dinner and cool off with a couple margaritas before dinner so as to beat the wait.
When entering or exiting the restaurant, visitors must wear a mask.
