The World Cup is finally here! If you’re looking for a free space to catch the action: Kylde Warren Park in Downtown Dallas is transforming into a World Cup hub this summer with watch parties, live music, food trucks, and more.
Running throughout the duration of the tournament – June 11 through July 19, 2026 – officials are turning its central green space into an open-air soccer fan zone, screening World Cup games in both English and Spanish on a giant LED screen with Downtown Dallas as an idyllic backdrop.
In addition to park staples like Mi Cocina and La Parade, Klyde Warren Park World Cup watch parties will feature a rotating selection of on-site food trucks. Featured food trucks appearing over the next month include Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs, Taste of Cuba, Halal Fusionz, Bruno’s Italian Ice, and more.
Coinciding with the World Cup matches, Klyde Warren park will feature daily programming, including live music, fitness classes, family activities, and soccer-themed community events. Featured events include a Print Party workshop (June 13), Oak Lawn Band Jazz Band (June 19), and Piano Park (multiple dates).
On June 20, fans can witness Kurt Perschke’s RedBall. As part of the RedBall Dallas experience, the installation will see a gigantic red ball at the Nancy Best Fountain from 11 am – 6 pm.
Visitors can also expect to see special World Cup-themed choreographed music and light shows at the Nancy Best Fountain.
To help make Dallas more pedestrian-friendly during the World Cup, Olive Street—which divides Klyde Warren Park—will be closed to vehicle traffic on weekends from June 13 through July 19. This temporary change will allow visitors to safely and seamlessly walk between the east and west sides of the park.
