More than a million twinkling lights will illuminate the zoo for 40 magical winter nights.
Dallas Zoo Lights is returning to the oldest and largest zoological park in Texas in just a couple of weeks having resorted to a drive-thru experience for the last two years.
The 106-acre zoological Park will once again host its beloved mile-long walk-thru experience from November 17 inviting guests to wander beneath millions of twinkling lights between dazzling 3D lighted sculptures and installations.
This year’s Dallas Zoo Lights will feature new larger-than-life animal lanterns as well as elaborate holiday-themed displays in ZooNorth and Wilds of Africa, and of course an array of festive holiday drinks and snacks for guests of all ages.
There will be nightly musical performances on stage at The Grove, programmed light shows in the Amphitheater, and after-hours rides while Santa’s Workshop will also offer the opportunity to say hello to the jolly old elf himself through Christmas Eve.
This year there will be a new ticket pricing system with “Premium Nights” every Friday & Saturday night and Dec. 18-23 costing a little more than the rest of the week. Dallas Zoo Lights will be open from 5:30 – 10 pm on select nights from Thursday, November 17, 2022, through Sunday, January 1, 2023.
