Get ready to get your game on, Dallas! Battleship, Scrabble, Connect 4, and more: play your favorite childhood games this November in supersized form at Hasbro’s Game Zone family event in Dallas. The immersive gaming experience will see lifesized version of classic Hasbro games as well as special appearances from the Dallas Wings’ stars, Paige Beuckers and Maddy Siegrist.
Hasbro Game Zone, in collaboration with Amazon, will take place on November 8 and November 9 at The Shops at Park Lane. The free, weekend-long event will families to compete amongst each other at their Hasbro favorites alongside the company’s newest games.
In addition to supersized versions of Priorities, Scrabble, Battleship, and Connect 4 Frenzy, visitors can also play (regular-sized) Hasbro games like Hungry Hungry Hippos, Guess Who?, Operation, as well as Bop It, Bop It Xtreme, and Rebounce.
For the kiddos, who may still be suffering from post Halloween blues, a Candy Land-inspired treat station will be on-site, offering a delectable assortment of themed sweets.
Without burying the lead, the Game Zone will also feature special appearances by Dallas Wings’ star players, Paige Beuckers and Maddy Siegrist. The two Wings players will make an appearance on Saturday, November 8, from noon to 1 pm. Plus, one lucky fan will be able to walk away with a Connect 4 Frenzy game, signed by Paige Beuckers, that which will be given away at random over the weekend.
“I grew up playing Connect 4, so teaming up with Hasbro and being a part of Connect 4 Frenzy is a full-circle moment for me,” said Beuckers in a press statement. “I’m excited for family and friends to play a game that is fun and competitive”.
Meanwhile, visitors can delight in supersized photo-ops and nostalgic gaming experience of their favorite Hasbro games.
Hasbro Game Zone takes place from 11 am to 5 pm at The Shops at Park Lane at 8080 Park Lane on November 8 – 9. The event is free to attend.
