Take date night to the castle gates this season at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Inspired by the 11th-century knight combat traditions of Spanish and French kingdoms, Medieval Times offers an unparalleled date night experience as well as an exciting outing for the whole family.
Anyone who’s ever seen Cable Guy has, from that moment on, wanted to experience the middle ages meal and melee that is Medieval Times. Fortunately for us, the company’s only Texas outpost is located here in Dallas.
Here, a fantastic story unfolds of gallant knights battling in a tournament to earn the respect of the queen and become the Defender of the Throne. Over the course of two hours, a tournament takes place involving live jousting, hand-to-hand combat, fantastic displays of falconry and horsemanship.

Patrons will also enjoy a banquet meal fit for queens and kings. The four-course meal includes roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, herb-based potato, and dessert. Much like the way of the middle ages, utensils are not included.
For those with dietary preferences or restrictions, Medieval Times also serves a vegan meal with three-bean stew with brown rice and fire-roasted tomatoes, hummus with celery and carrot sticks, as well as a dessert of Italian ice or fruit. Gluten-free meals and vegetarian options are also available.
Medieval Times also features a full bar where guests can opt for an overflowing stein of ale, wine, or speciality cocktails. Of course, non-alcoholic beverages are also for sale for the kiddos or teetotallers.
