Independence Day is right around the corner. If you’re hoping to add a healthy dose of Americana music to your Fourth of July weekend, the Outlaw Music Festival kicks off its national tour in Irving on July 3 with performances by Willie Nelson, Wilco, and more.
Now in its 11th year, Outlaw Music Festival is one of the country’s largest touring franchises. Rolling Stone hailed the festival as “undoubtedly the most exciting and eclectic multi-artist festival of the 2025 summer amphitheater season by a wide margin”.
Founded by Willie Nelson, the touring festival regularly features an eclectic lineup that include legendary artists – like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and ZZ Top – to modern stars like Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, and Sturgill Simpson.
The 12-stop tour kicks off with a Texas 3-city run, starting with The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on Friday, July 3. Featured artists performing at Outlaw Music Festival in Irving this July include:

Tickets to Outlaw Music Festival in Irving are still on sale, starting around $22 for lawn seating via major ticketing and ticket reselling platforms. VIP ticket options are also still avaialble. The festival starts at 2:05 pm on Friday, July 3rd.
“Being on the road and playing for the fans is what I love to do,” said Willie Nelson. “We don’t get to do as many shows as we used to, so every night out there means a little more. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and making it a special time.”
For superfans, the festival will include Willie’s annual Fourth of July picnic in Austin, Texas. The event will feature special performances by Billy Strings and Rodney Crowell.
