Here’s some peachy news, Dallas. The Parker County Peach Festival is set to return to Downtown Weatherford. Located just outside Dallas, the festival celebrates the fuzzy fruit with +200 arts, crafts, and local vendors, live music, and more – all with a wholesome dose of small town charm.
When/Where is the 2026 Parker County Peach Festival?
The annual peach festival takes place on the second Saturday of July. The one-day-only event takes place from 8 am – 4 pm on Saturday, July 11, at Historic Downtown Weatherford at 1 Courthouse Square.
What to Expect at the Parker County Peach Festival?
Recently bestowed the “Best in Texas” by the Texas Festival and Events Association, the festival regularly draws around 50,000 attendants.
Come hungry. You can expect to find homemade peach ice cream, towering peach cobblers, warm peach pies, peach tea, and refreshing peach juleps. And of course, plenty of vendors will be selling bushels of plain ol’ juicy peaches straight from the local orchards.
Beyond the food, the historic downtown streets will be lined with over 200 booths featuring arts, crafts, local produce, and unique handmade goods from artisans across the region.
The festival will feature two separate stages for local and regional live music acts and performances.
The little ones will have plenty to do with two dedicated children’s areas featuring interactive games, rides, and activities.
Notably, the festival will host the 38th Annual Peach Pedal Bike Ride. Starting on the day of the festival at the parking lot of Weatherford High School, visitors can choose to participate in either the 8, 28, 38, and 61-mile rides.
The festival does offer free parking and a shuttle system to/from Weatherford College and the 9th Grade Center. Due to the heat of city streets, officials discourage visitors bringing their pets.
How to get tickets to the peach festival?
Tickets to the peach festival are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for kids between the ages of 5 and 12. Free admission for children under the age of 5.
The festival also offers VIP options. With VIP packages – priced at $50 – ticket-holders receive VIP parking, official festival t-shirts, a commemorative mug, Cattlemen’s Cigar Shop drink ticket, swag bag, and more.
Tickets must be purchased online ahead of time.
