Get ready to pucker up, buttercups: The World’s Only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade & Palooza is officially returning to the DFW town of Mansfield AKA the “Pickle Capital of Texas” this March.
Started in 2012, “The Pickle Parade” is set to return to the historic streets of downtown Mansfield on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Running with a “Party in Mansfield Like it’s 1776” theme, the palooza promises a revolutionary rager.
The festivities kick off early 8 AM on March 21 with the Pickle Run. Starting at James McKnight East Park, hundreds of runners will hustle through the streets to earn their post-race juice.

The main event kicks of at 1:00 PM when the main parade rolls out. Here, visitors can expect an array of emerald-green floats, marching bands, and the legendary Mansfield Pickle Queens. Clad in their signature red wigs and sparkly tiaras—the Pickle Queens are known to shower the crowd with (you guessed it) plenty of pickles.
The festivities also include a Baby Parade, where parents can dress up and show off their little ones with the chance to win prizes.
After the parade, the party continues in downtown Mansfield. Running until 7 pm, the downtown corridor transforms into a massive street festival featuring live music across multiple stages, a curated market of local vendors, and a “Pickle Playground” for the kids. Furthermore, this year’s festivities will feature a headlining performance by rising country star, Austin Brown.

For pickle professionals, the main stage hosts the ultimate tests of endurance: the Pickle Eating and Pickle Juice Drinking contests. Between rounds of green beer, make sure to catch the other musical acts, magic show, and/or eat your way through the various fair food vendors.
Best of all? Admission to this pickle-packed party is completely free, with complimentary shuttles running from Legacy High School and R.L. Anderson Stadium.
