Driving in Texas is not necessarily fun – one could even call it “perilous”. That’s, however, not the case at Shenaniganz. The diverse, large-scale entertainment venue known for its go-karting, lazer tag, and other nostalgic activities has unveiled its latest experience: Quantum Go-Karts.
Described as America’s first Sugercube experience, the go-karting is experience is elevated with augmented reality technology, complete with power-ups, immersive digital spectacle, and obstacles – giving riders the impression of a real life Mario Kart scenario.
Shenaniganz is a large-scale, family-friendly entertainment center. With two locations in North Texas, Shenaniganz is an all-in-one establishment for nostalgia, offering attractions ranging from lazer tag to bowling, arcade games, and a kid zone.

Recently, Shenaniganz has unlocked its latest experience: Quantum Go-Karts. Per its website, Quantum Go-Karts at Shenaniganz in Rockwall is the first Sugarcube go-karting experience in America. Primarily based in Europe, Sugarcube is an augmented reality (AR) go-karting system that emulates a video game experience.
Now available at its venue in Rockwall, Quantum Go-Karts offers a digitally-enhanced, immersive go-karting experience. Tech-d out with augmented reality technology, the electric go-karting experience puts single drivers in a digital world and interactive multi-level track proliferated with power-ups, obstacles, and video game elements.
Quantum Go-Karts is available for riders ages 10 and up that are 48 inches or taller. For us adults, there is no maximum age limit. All karts are single-rider vehicles. Races can accommodate 10 players at a time. Private track rentals are available. All participants must sign a waiver before racing.
Quantum Go-Kart rides are priced per race, starting at $11.99 per person from Monday through Thursday and from open to 6 pm on Fridays. On Fridays after 6 pm, Saturday, and Sunday, sessions are priced at $14.99 per person.
