
Calling all cowboys and cowgirls! Prove your grit this June at the inaugural Red Bull Rancher Strong fitness series. Taking place this June, the the new fitness series celebrates the tenacity of rancher lifestyle through high-energy competitions ranging from riding to livestock-raising.
The Red Bull Rancher Strong will debut on June 7th at the Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth. The fitness series is inspired by the daily challenges of ranching lifestyle; designed for all types of athletes – for those who spend all their time on the ranch or at the gym – the fitness series tests resilience, strength, and endurance.
Divided into seven obstacles in head-to-head rounds, Red Bull Rancher Strong will feature expertly-designed obstacles, ranging from roping to riding, and livestock-raising.
Featured challenges include Escape the Barn, Load the Feed, Stockyard Scramble, Tree Stumpede, Hay Bale Hustle, Grandpa’s Trailer, Rope the Bull, and Barn & Finish.
“We’re excited to bring the energy and tenacity of the rancher lifestyle to life through Red Bull Rancher Strong,” said the event Sportive Director, Lance Pekus aka the “Cowboy Ninja” of American Ninja Warrior.
“The event will celebrate hard work, toughness, and passion – values that are central to both the agricultural and fitness communities.”
Co-hosting the event with Pekus are 11-time Crossit Games medalist and Red Bull Athlete, Noah Ohlsen, and Farm Fit Training founder, Amanda Nigg.
For those wishing to participate, you can apply to compete through the Red Bull Rancher Strong website open through May 11, 2025.
In addition to the fitness competition, the event will also feature a Fan Zone, in which aspiring fans can engage in strength and endurance challenges. Tickets to attend the event are now on sale through the Cowtown Coliseum website.
