Shaquille O’Neal is a man who wears many hats. He’s a beloved sports broadcaster, NBA Hall of Famer, restaurant franchise owner, actor, rapper, and for the purpose of this article, a bass DJ. In 2023, O’ Neal debuted his very own music festival: Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival.
Hosted at the Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, the festival – billed as the largest bass music festival in Texas – regularly features top artists in the bass genre, including a headlining performance by Shaq himself under his moniker, DJ Diesel.
On March 21, Shaq’s Bass All-Stars returns to the Panther Island Pavilion. Headlining alongside Shaq (AKA DJ Diesel) is Levity and Wool. The festival will also feature a special bass set by T-Pain.

Per tradition, Shaq personally curated the entire lineup of Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival. The lineup includes performances by the following:
- Drinkurwater
- GorillaT
- Jessica Audifred
- All The Reason
- Celo b2b Neotek
- Dream Takers
- Ivory
- TYNAN
- Whales
Tickets to the music festival are now on sale starting at $99.95 (including taxes and fees) for general admission. VIP tickets are sold out for the festival, but All-Star VIP tickets are still on sale as of this article, price at $239.95 (including taxes and fees).
Per its website, the festival is very near and dear to Shaq, who oversees practically every aspect of the show:
“SHAQ’s Bass All Stars Festival is not just another music festival-it’s a reflection of SHAQ’s larger-than-life personality and passion for bass music,” the website reads. “Created and hosted by SHAQ himself, this festival brings his fun and energetic identity to life in every aspect”.
In addition to music performances across two stages, Shaq’s Bass All-Stars also features a merch village, food truck village, branded games, sponsorship activations, and retail village.
“From personally curating the lineup to overseeing the stage design, venue selection, sponsors, and even the food vendors and retailers, SHAQ has left his mark on every detail. This festival is more than just music; it’s a full-blown SHAQ experience”.
