Think small this May. Following over 2 million visitors and sold out crowds during its European run, The Smurf Experience is set to make its US debut in the DFW area this May with a 13,000-square-foot Smurf Village at Arlington’s Esports Stadium.
The Smurfs Experience is an official event made in collaboration between the SBX Group, Cecoforma, and the Peyo Company, founded by The Smurfs’ original creator, Peyo (Pierre Culliford).
Launching May 7, 2025, The Smurf Experience in DFW will feature an immersive Smurf Village housed inside the 13,000-square-foot Esports Stadium in Arlington. Timed at 75 minutes, The Smurfs Experience will feature nine mission zones. This include obstacle courses, interactive scavenger hunts, Smurf character meet-and-greets, and virtual reality activities.

“The Smurfs may be small, but their journey has been anything but. From their origins in Europe in the 1950’s to their increasing global popularity, we are excited to bring the world of the Smurfs to life for families in DFW“, said Danny Fritz, SBX Group CEO, in a press release.
“Based on the success of the attraction in Europe, we believe US audiences will thoroughly enjoy the launch of The Smurf Experience”.
The Smurf Experience in DFW runs from May 7, 2025 to August 11, 2025 – coinciding with the release of the new Smurfs movie in theaters this July. Tickets to the event are now on sale through the event website starting at $30. The event takes place at the Arlington Museum of Art inside the Esports Stadium in Arlington located at 1200 Ballpark Way.

“When my father first drew these little blue characters decades ago, I don’t think he ever imagined that they’d one day jump off the pages and be able to physically interact with families around the world,” said Véronique Culliford, daughter of Peyo and Founder/President of Peyo Company.
“It is wonderful to see The Smurf Experience bring the Smurfs, their story and their values to life in such a meaningful way”.
