We love lights.
With 2020 going down the way it has, we’ll take all the incandescent holiday cheer we possibly can. And this year, thankfully, DFW is in no short supply. Joining in on turning up for the season is Vitruvian Park in Addison, where the park lights up nightly with an enchanting must-see display. [Featured image via vitruvianpark.com]
Is it really the holiday season without festive lights? We don’t think so either. Unlike glasses of eggnog, there’s no such thing as having too many holiday light displays. For those checking off the many brilliant light spectacles in the city, the display at Vitruvian Park is one for the list:
“The most dazzling and spectacular time of the year is here,” the Addison tourism group writes in a post on Instagram. “[Vitruvian Park] transforms into a magical holiday wonderland. Although there will not be any special events in conjunction with the Vitruvian Lights, visitors are encouraged to stroll or drive through the park to enjoy the beauty of the lights.”
Millions of sparkling LED lights neatly tied around over 550 trees span over 19 acres of Vitruvian Park. The park lights up every night from 5 pm – 11 pm from now until January 3.
For other festive things to do this season in the DFW area, Globe Life Field is now radiant with millions of glittering lights shining upon created the largest ice rink in Texas. Additionally, the Dallas Arboretum has transformed its garden into a fairy tale display.
