Dallasites will be in good spirits going into this weekend. Not only is it St. Patrick’s Day weekend, but Whiskey Riot, otherwise known as the nation’s largest touring whiskey festival returns to the city this Saturday.
Attendees will have the chance to sample over 200 whiskey varieties from local, regional, national, and international brands. The festival also offers creative whiskey cocktails, seminars, and opportunities to engage with distillers and brand representatives.
Furthermore, the festival will feature a trio of official cocktail bars on the grounds, with mixologists on deck to whip up tasty and stern whiskey-based cocktails.
Featured whisky brands at the festival include:
- Basil Hayden
- Glenfiddich
- Compass Box
- Milam & Greene
- Prideful Goat
- Boondocks
- Old Elk
- Widow Jane
- Jimmy Red
- Yellowstone
- Balcones
Whiskey Riot in Dallas kicks off this Saturday, March 15, at the Tower Building at Fair Park located at 3809 Grand Ave. General admission hours run from 4 pm to 7 pm, with early entry admission ticket holders granted entrance at 3 pm.
Tickets to Whiskey Riot in Dallas are still one sale, priced at $90 for general admission and include ability to sample from over 200 types of whiskey – hypothetically speaking – without any additional purchase necessary, an official Whiskey Riot glass souvenir, and a whiskey cocktail voucher.
Complimentary water bottles will also be available at the festival. Food and merch vendors will be on site as well.
The venue had offered early entry admission with exclusive benefits for entry and whiskey samplings, but those tickets have since sold out.
Visitors must be 21 years or older to attend. Dogs are not allowed. The festival strongly encourages attendants to utilize ride share options when coming and leaving.
