Spring is here, Dallas, which means there’s no better time of the year to get out and about. While we’re sure you’d love to be hiking, running, and cycling around the city, sometimes the weather just isn’t amenable. If you’re looking to get a sweat going, consider an immersive cycling class at iiCE Fitness.
While we’re sure there’s a ton of fantastic indoor cycling facilities in classes in the DFW area, there aren’t many like the Banda classes at iiCE. Among its genre-bending variety of classes, participants can take part in a full (very sweaty) cycling class in the company of a live Banda ensemble performance.

Banda is a rich, cultural tradition of Mexican music that originated he Mexican state of Sinaloa in the mid 19th century. Traditionally Banda is performed by an ensemble group with horns, syncopated beats, and passionate vocals.
At iiCE, cyclists can enjoy a live performance by local Banda ensemble, Consetidos Del Llano, all while pushing their limits of resistance, endurance, and speed. The classes also incorporate Sprint-Shift challenges, weighted arm movements, intervals, and challenging climbs over the course of 45 minutes.
The immersive cycling center also features classes synced up with country, pop hits, Cumbia, as well as a headbangers class tuned up to dubstep bangers.
