Go buku for Fuku.
America loves a good chicken sandwich – especially in Dallas, where we’ve frankly lost count of all fresh hot chicken eateries to have opened up in the past year. The more the merrier, we say. Fuku is based in NYC, where it first opened in Hudson Yards. Since then, it has opened kitchens in cities across the US, including Philadelphia, D.C., and Miami. Earlier this month, the chain debuted in Texas with outposts in Dallas and Houston.
As noted, Fuku won’t operate as its own brick-and-mortar restaurant, but rather a delivery only ghost kitchen in collaboration with REEF:
“Through this delivery-only model, we’re able to introduce Fuku to Dallas and Houston in a safe and controlled way, allowing Fuku fans to enjoy it from the comfort of home,” said Alex Munoz-Suarez, Fuku CEO.
Fuku specializes in seasoned chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. The Spicy Fried Chicken Sando is fixed in a Martin’s potato roll, are made with habanero-peppered chicken breast and topped with mayo and pickles. Other variations of the sando are available, with bacon, ranch, and a combination of other options. Fuku also serves chicken fingers, waffle fries, mini Sandos, and waffle hash browns.
