Your move, IKEA.
New York-based RH, formerly known as Restoration Hardware, has opened its first Texas outpost with a luxurious three-story establishment complete with a glass-encased rooftop restaurant.
RH is foremost an upscale home-furnishing retailer. Visitors will find that three stories of its recently-opened Dallas location on Knox Street are dedicated to exhibiting its luxurious collections of artistic home ware – from vanities, to lighting fixtures, and everything in between.
“Our three-story 70,000-square-foot design gallery blurs the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality,” the company writes on its website.
If a $1,200 faucet is enough to make your heart sink, don’t be discouraged if your intention is to dine out… or up, if you will.
Like their other locations around the country, RH in Dallas comes with an elegant rooftop eatery. And while the 70,000-square-foot gallery might be a little overwhelming, their culinary options are more affordable – especially when taking the enchanting atmosphere into consideration.
“Dine beneath a dramatic glass-and-steel atrium amid sparkling chandeliers, heritage olive trees and trickling fountains in our rooftop restaurant, which opens onto a beautifully landscaped garden.”
The RH menu offers brunch, lunch, shareable plates, and dinner options that dabble largely in southern fare. Featured dishes include the Truffled Grilled Cheese, Lobster Roll, and 16-oz Charred Ribeye Steak.
RH restaurant is open from 10 am – 9 pm Monday through Sunday.
