‘The TopGolf of ___’ is an expression that we can’t stop using. Especially with Dallas, what with TOMA Social, BatBox, Sixes Social Cricket – the TopGolf of soccer, baseball, and cricket, respectively – we simply can’t help it. The “eatertainment” craze is taking over and we’re here for it. Also soon to come, Dallasites can expect JumpShot Live “the TopGolf of basketball” opening in Dallas this year.
Announced this past year, JumpShot Live intends to open its eatertainment complex in Dallas this 2025. The basketball-themed venue will feature a sports bar, full-service restaurant, event venue – all under one roof. Dallas will mark the venue’s first location, after which the company plans to open three more locations by 2026.
Much like TopGolf, the basketball-themed venue will feature custom gaming bays (50) – spaced in 10 x 40-foot lanes that fit parties up to 6 people. The 50,000-square-foot venue will feature patent-pending technology in which the hoops can move across the court. Here, parties can participate in a variety of basketball-themed games. The venue has yet to announce its specific address in Dallas.
Furthermore, JumpShot Live in Dallas will feature elevated technological assets include LED screens and projectors. Bay groups can choose to link their game to other “neighborhoods” for challenges and sporting events.
“This is one of the most innovative and technologically advanced entertainment experiences in the world,” said COO and former Green Bay Packers player, Derrick Mayes in a statement. “We believe that JumpShot Live will redefine the industry and bring basketball fans something beyond their imagination.”
Mayes is also a former executive of TopGolf.
JumpShot Live is shooting for a 2025 opening in Dallas, though the venue has yet to announce a specific opening date and location. Following its Dallas opening, JumpShot Live plans for an expansion of up to four locations in total by 2026.
