Last year, Michelin officially expanded into Texas – bestowing various Michelin distinctions to 117 chefs and restaurants across the state. This fall, the esteemed culinary tastemakers will announce its 2025 edition of the Texas Michelin Guide in a special, invite-only ceremony in Houston.
The ceremony will be held at the Wortham Theater Center in Houston on October 28, 2025. Here, the organization will be honoring chefs across Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio for its 2025 Texas Michelin Guide.
In its inaugural Texas Michelin Guide, announced last fall, the company distinguished multiple concepts in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In Dallas, 23 chefs and restaurants earned distinctions.

Those earning a Bib Gourmand – awarded to restaurants offering high-quality cuisine at good prices, or otherwise were a favorite to the Michelin inspectors – include: Gemma, Lucia, Ngon Vietnamese Kitchen, Mot Hai Ba, nonna, and Cattleack Barbecue.
Other distinguished Dallas restaurants include: Monarch, Crown Block, Tei-An, Fearing’s, Mercat Bistro, Stillwell’s, El Carlos Elegante, Stock & Barrel, Written By The Seasons, Rye, Barsotti’s, Quarter Acre, Sachet, Georgie, Mister Charles, and Knox Bistro.
As of now, the only Michelin-Starred restaurant in Dallas is Tatsu Dallas.

Four Fort Worth restaurants also hold Michelin distinctions, including: Panther City BBQ, Birrieria Y Taqueria Cortez, Smoke’N Ash BBQ, and Goldee’s– the latter honored with a Bib Gourmand.
“Last year marked a milestone for the Texas restaurant industry, and we’re excited to continue celebrating the state’s exceptional culinary talent at this year’s ceremony,” said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide in a press release.
“Texas’ culinary scene boasts a rich heritage, defined by its diverse flavors, unique cuisines, and remarkable talent—qualities that make it distinctly Texan. It offers something for every kind of traveler, and we look forward to unveiling our Inspectors’ findings in the coming months.”
